Looking for an editor? I offer proofreading, copyediting, and developmental editing. I work in a variety of genres but I specialize in fantasy. I do not do erotica. I've included a description of each below but feel free to also reach out and I'll be happy to help you determine which type of editing best suits your current needs. Per word rate for any fiction over 3000 words
Comprehensive edit (aka developmental + copyedit): $0.02/word
Developmental edit: $0.01/word
Copyedit: $0.005/word
Proofreading: $0.003/word

Developmental Editing
These are the big picture edits, focusing on plot, pacing, flow, character development, and point of view. If magic is a part of your story, we would also look at the structure and scaling of your magic system.
Copyediting
This edit focuses on the important details of grammar, syntax, and style consistency. This involves checking punctuation, spelling, and fact-checking. I usually do a little line editing as well (checking the flow of each sentence and if the best words are being used to bring the story to life).
Proofreading
This is the last round of edits to find any missed typos or spelling errors. Facts are double-checked as well as the formatting of the book if it's been designed.
